BBC presenter Andrew Marr has signed a deal with Global, where he will be hosting an opinion-led program on LBC and will also be presenting a show on Classic FM, interviewing guests from the world of politics and arts.
As part of the deal, he will also be presenting a weekly podcast on Global Player and will be writing a regular column for LBC.co.uk.
He begins from the New Year.
Marr is a veteran BBC journalist, having joined as a political editor in 2002. He has presented The Andrew Marr Show since 2005 and has also co-hosted Start the Week on BBC Radio 4.
