BBC News hires Chan as journalist
BBC News has appointed Cyrus Chan as a journalist, BBC Monitoring. He was previously a news reporter at Undercurrent News in the UK, a seafood business news site that gives executives insight into price and supply trends.
There, he focused on the seafood business and trade in the Asian market.
He has also interned at City A.M. and was a contributor at South China Morning Post. He has also reported for and was a Beijing correspondent at PCCW in Hong Kong. He has also reported for various other papers in Hong Kong.
Chan graduated from the University of Bristol.
