Jon Sopel, a veteran BBC journalist who has been with the broadcaster for the past 22 years, is leaving.
Recently, he was presenting a new daily news program on BBC World. Before that, he worked as a news presenter and also served as a Paris correspondent for 4 years for the broadcaster.
Sopel has a B.Sc. in politics from the University of Southampton.
