Barker joins the Telegraph as acting foreign editor

Memphis Barker

The Telegraph has appointed Memphis Barker as acting foreign editor. Recently, Barker served as a reporter in a freelance capacity for The Economist.

Previously, he was a Britain desk intern at The Economist. He was also a comment editor at The i newspaper. He was also with The Independent for 4 years, where he worked as an assistant editor, Independent Voices and then as a deputy comment editor.

Barker is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
