Axios has hired Priya Mathew as editorial director of Axios events driving event editorial production and planning.
She comes from The Washington Post, where she served as senior editorial producer. Before that, she held the posts of editorial producer and Facebook Live host/producer. She was also a news producer at KTNV Channel 13 Action News in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mathew was also a political producer at Vegas PBS and has worked as a political producer/editor at KSNV News 3, NBC-affiliated TV station in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mathew graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
