Gillian White, managing editor at The Atlantic, will be leaving to join Capital B, a nonprofit news organization focused on local journalism and Black communities.
White had been at The Atlantic for 7 years, holding various roles, including senior associate editor, senior editor and deputy editor. Before that, she was an associate editor at Kiplinger’s Personal Finance
She has also interned at Bloomberg and was a staff writer/research associate at Corporate Insight.
White has a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
