Holly Meyer is joining the Associated Press global religion team as a news editor.
Her new role starts Jul. 26.
Previously, she was a religion reporter at The Tennessean. She also held the same post at The Post-Crescent. She also reported for the Rapid City Journal.
Meyer has also interned at the Army News Service, the Belleville News-Democrat, and Effingham Daily News.
Meyer is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.
