Amazon taps Imam to create content and editorial

Jareen Imam

Jareen Imam has joined Amazon to create content and editorial for its advertising team.

Previously, she was director of social newsgathering at NBCUniversal. She was also head of social media at CBS News.

Imam was also with CNN for 6 years, holding various roles, including intern/freelancer, video journalist, associate producer, digital writer/producer and social discovery producer. She has also interned at CBS.

Imam has a B.A. in creative writing, English and journalism from Emory University.
