Maan Alhmidi will start a permanent gig at The Canadian Press in Toronto after working for 13 months with CP’s Ottawa team.
Alhmidi has also interned at The Globe and Mail and The Canadian Press. He was also a multimedia journalist at The Chronicle Herald and was a news editor at The New Arab. He was also a communication assistant at World University Service of Canada.
He was also editor-in-chief of ALGHERBAL Magazine.
Alhmidi graduated from Carleton University with a master’s degree in journalism.
