Alaska Public Media has appointed Julia O’Malley as managing editor for digital.
O’Malley also publishes her own blog and works freelance.
She is also a contributor at Al Jazeera America. She has also held the posts of reporter and columnist at Anchorage Daily News and was a correspondent at The Oregonian. She has also covered schools, the arts and wrote a regular lifestyle column for Juneau Empire.
O’Malley graduated from Smith College.
