Zahir joining WSJ as social media editor

Sorayah Zahir, a digital media intern for the Wall Street Journal, has accepted a full-time position with the publication as its social media editor.

She begins next month.

Zahir was also a marketing and communications intern at the Texas Ballet Theater and a social media coordinator at the Allies in Youth Development organization.

She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.A. in communications in 2019.
