He will oversee features, essays and columns that are technology related.
Yarm is a former senior editor at Blender. He has written for numerous other publications, including Wired, Esquire, FHM, Spin, the Village Voice and Salon.com.
He is the author of “Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge.”
