Yahoo Finance announced Friday the launch of a new series called “Global Change Agents with Lianna Brinded” examining the career journeys of women in advertising, business, tech and academia.
The series will premiere on April 3.
Brinded, head of Yahoo Finance UK, will delve into all the ways women shape the world we do business in, the industries that run our lives, and what we can learn from their career paths.
Yahoo Finance will also host talks and networking events for women in business and advertising. The series will also be supported by a podcast series.
“We know that organizations with more female managers make more money—and studies show that women in general are better leaders,” said Brinded in a statement. “But what we also know is that there is a woeful dearth of women at the top of the corporate ladder across the globe.”
