Reuters has expanded its deals team in New York by hiring Krystal Hu to the team.
There, Hu will be covering mergers and acquisitions in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.
Before joining Reuters, Hu was working at Yahoo Finance where she reported on technology for the last two years, breaking major stories on some of the industry’s biggest names, including Amazon. Prior to that, Hu interned at numerous places including the Wall Street Journal, Debtwire and Reuters in Shanghai.
She also held the post of production assistant at VICE Media.
Hu has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Wuhan University and a master’s degree in business and economic reporting from New York University.
