Yahoo Finance reporter Heidi Chung has left the business news website for a job at Variety.
She will start her new job on July 27.
Chung will be writing for Variety’s new subscription-based platform VIP (Variety Intelligence Platform) under Andy Wallenstein and will also be doing on-camera digital video.
She has been an on-air reporter at Yahoo Finance since October 2018. Chung previously spent two years at CNBC as an associate producer, managing and booking regular panelists on “Fast Money” and “Options Action.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Santa Cruz and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California.
