Yahoo Finance UK promotes Williams-Grut and Shaikh to acting co-heads

Yahoo Finance U.K. has named Oscar Williams-Grut and Sajid Shaikh to the role of acting co-heads.

Williams-Grut was previously serving as senior city correspondent. Before that, he was a senior reporter at Business Insider.

He has also worked as an online business journalist and then as a market reporter at the Evening Standard.

Williams-Grut was also a news editor and then co-editor at The Tab. Williams-Grut is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.

Previously, Shaikh held the post of digital finance editor. Before that, he was with Guardian News and Media for more than 13 years, working across various news desks, including business, environment and science.

Shaikh holds a master’s degree in journalism from City, University of London.
