Yahoo Finance hires Harding as a producer

Jillian Harding

Jillian Harding has been hired by Yahoo Finance as a producer.

Harding has been working at CBS MoneyWatch, where she was an all-platform journalist writing and producing general assignment business stories.

Prior to her work with CBS, Harding spent six years at CNBC, rising through the ranks as a field producer on beats including markets and economics. She has produced more than one hundred live field shoots across the U.S. and Europe, including interviews with the President of the United States, foreign dignitaries and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.

Harding began her career in CNN’s D.C. bureau, helping the live desk with Capitol Hill and election coverage, and writing for the CNN Political Ticker.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
