Yahoo Finance has hired Amanda Fung as an editor.
In this new role Amanda will edit and package stories and work with the audience development team to create, curate and distribute premium and partner content, as well as help manage its homepage.
“We are delighted to welcome Amanda to our team,” says Yahoo Finance editor in chief Andy Serwer. “She’s a highly skilled editor who really knows the subject matter.”
Prior to joining Yahoo Finance, Fung spent 12 years at Crain’s New York, where she most recently served as web editor, authored the RED Wrap column, and managed social media.
Throughout her career at Crain’s, Fung also covered residential real estate, technology and the telecommunications industry, and was a senior news producer. Prior to joining Crain’s, she was a reporter at Institutional Investor News and American Banker.
Fung is a native of New York City and a graduate of New York University.
