Ines Ferre has been hired Yahoo Finance as a markets reporter, contributing to all its programs.
She started this week.
Ferre previously worked at NBC 10/Telemundo 62 in Philadelphia where she was a bilingual investigative consumer reporter, and helped launch the consumer franchise unit for Telemundo 62.
Her experience includes reporting for CBS MoneyWatch and covering the aftermath of the financial crisis for CNN, CNN Money and CNN Espanol. She graduated with a BA in communications and a minor in marketing and management from the University of Pennsylvania.
In January, Yahoo Finance extended its daily live programming to eight hours, which includes six daily shows and an additional special weekly program hosted by Yahoo Finance’s editor in chief, “Influencers with Andy Serwer,” on Thursdays.
