Yahoo Finance editor in chief Andy Serwer did a question-and-answer session with Quora on Friday where he talked about the financial news site.

Our target audience is really anyone in the world who cares about business, investing and business news. That’s a huge potential audience. Right now we have some 65 million monthly unique users according to comScore. We could and should be much bigger. We need to be more global and younger. As developing countries mature, the rising middle class becomes more interested in what we provide. It is a natural wind at our back. We need to reach out to those potential users and give them the content they need.
Interesting and of course I think about that a lot: Less desktop/more mobile. More video, but not only video. Faster. More global. More community orientation/more interactive. Less walls between employees and customers. More contributors and collaboration between all constituents w/out compromising transparency or trustworthiness.
