Yahoo Finance Canada lays off managing editor

Allan Shifman

Yahoo Finance Canada laid off its managing editor, Allan Shifman, on Friday.

Shifman had been with the publication for nearly eight years.

Prior to Yahoo Finance Canada, Shifman spent six years at Thomson Reuters, first as the photo editor and later, as the online editor and assignment desk editor.

He graduated from McGill University with a degree in cultural studies and received a degree in photography from Sheridan College.
