Wyoming Business Report is sold

APG Media of the Rockies LLC, a subsidiary of Adams Publishing Group LLC, a family-owned media company headquartered in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, purchased the Wyoming Business Report for an undisclosed amount.

A story on its website states, “Scott Walker, publisher of the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, said the Adams family is committed to community newspapers and feels now is a good time to invest in them and build a strong, synergistic company.

“‘This is kind of their first step out into the West,’ Walker said.

“The way he sees it, it’s a good step with ‘limitless’ possibilities for cooperation and synergy among the Wyoming papers.

“‘We certainly think the Wyoming Business Report is a great addition to the Adams Publishing Group of the Rockies and is a good complement to the daily papers that are here,’ Walker said, adding that it will lead to better-rounded coverage without destroying the essence of any individual publication.

“‘We don’t want the Business Report to be a monthly version of the Wyoming Tribune Eagle; I want it to be theBusiness Report, but there are ways to make it a better publication from this standpoint,’ he said.”
