WTTW News bringing more business news to flagship show “Chicago Tonight”

WTTW News has announced that more business news is coming to its television show, “Chicago Tonight,” starting this week.

Through a partnership with Crain’s Chicago Business, WTTW News will offer a regular feature on the station’s flagship newsmagazine every Monday through Thursday night.

Crain’s editor Ann Dwyer and other Crain’s newsroom staff will write and deliver the top business stories of the day for “Crain’s Headlines,” which will be jointly produced by WTTW News. The feature launches today.

“The business community in Chicago is vibrant and diverse and we are excited to expand our coverage in this area,” said WTTW President and CEO Sandra Cordova Micek. “This new partnership with Crain’s enables us to deliver essential, up-to-the-minute business news, and it supports our mission of producing and presenting trusted, best-in-class content that is fueled by a distinctly Chicago sensibility.”

“We are delighted to team up with WTTW News and ‘Chicago Tonight’ to create this new way of engaging with our readers and WTTW’s audience,” said Crain’s Publisher and Executive Editor Jim Kirk.

“Chicago Tonight” airs weeknights at 7 p.m. live or on demand on WTTW11, wttw.com/newsFacebook and YouTube.
