WSJ’s new weekend section, Exchange, launches next month

Wall Street Journal editor in chief Gerard Baker sent out the following announcement on Wednesday:

I’m delighted to announce that on Saturday, June 2, we will launch Exchange, The Journal’s revamped weekend business and finance section.

The section will offer a lively and robust report on the week’s business news, featuring the behind-the-scenes narratives, colorful characters and incisive commentary that defines our coverage. You can expect to find stunning visuals, revealing graphics and essential columnists, including Jason Zweig, Laura Saunders, Christopher Mims, John Stoll and Sam Walker.

I encourage you to send your best ideas to Exchange editor Emily Gitter, her deputy Erik Holm and Exchange’s crack team of editors and visuals staff.
