Wall Street Journal personal technology columnist Walt Mossberg will appear on Fox Business Network in a regular weekly technology segment. Mossberg will make his debut on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.Â
It’s the first major collaboration between The Journal and Fox since News Corp., the parent of Fox, acquired the paper in December 2007.
In his new role at the network, Mossberg will begin appearing Thursday mornings in the 11 a.m. hour with co-anchors Dagen McDowell and Brian Sullivan to discuss his “Personal Technologyâ€? column and other technology-related news of the day.Â
In making the announcement, Fox executive vice president Kevin Magee said, “Walt is the most well-respected personal technology reporter in the industry, and his insights on new products not only influences consumer purchasing behavior but the technology sector as a whole. We are pleased to welcome him to FBN.”
Mossberg writes two weekly columns, “Personal Technology” and “Mossberg’s Mailbox,” and edits a third, the “Mossberg Solution,” for The Journal. He also co-produces and co-hosts D: All Things Digital, the paper’s high-tech and media conference, as well as co-editing the All Things Digital Web site. Mossberg has been a reporter and editor at The Journal since 1970 and is based in Washington, D.C.
