WSJ’s Berman talks about its tech coverage
Joe Pompeo of Capital New York interviewed Wall Street Journal business editor Dennis Berman about changes to the paper’s technology coverage.

BERMAN: I’d call it a smart evolution. Tech is permeating every industry in ways that are creating opportunities and threats. Our readers are hungry for reporting and information about how they may or may not use technology.
CAPITAL:Journal executives recently boasted that “strong demand” from tech companies helped drive a 2 percent print advertising gain in the first quarter.
BERMAN: Tech companies want to reach our audience. The beauty of it is we’re servicing our readers [with Business & Tech.] but it’s also a nice venue for advertisers, so to make a change just makes basic sense.
