Khan, Fan and Lyons also won in the explanatory feature writing category for “The People of Hong Kong.”
And Josh Chin and Clement Burge won the multimedia category for “Xinjiang: China’s Drive for Control.”
The Journal also received a merit recognition in two other categories.
“Amazon’s Troubled Asian Supply Chain” by Jon Emont, Alexandra Berzon, Justin Scheck and Shane Shifflett received merit recognition in the investigative feature writing category.
“The Crackdown Has Begun: Holding Power to Account in Hong Kong” by Jillian Kay Melchior received merit recognition in the commentary writing category.
