WSJ VC reporter Mack set to depart

Heather Mack

Heather Mack, a reporter covering venture capital and startups operating in biotech, food, health, cannabis and agriculture at the Wall Street Journal and WSJ Venture Capital, will be leaving the organization.

Previously, Mack was an associate editor at MobihealthNews and also served as a contributing writer at Grist. She has also served as an editorial intern at Medium.com, Bay Nature Institute, San Francisco Bay Guardian and The Commonwealth Club of California. Mack was also a reporter for Mission Local.

Additionally, she has also served as an editor, contributing reporter, producer/host and copy writer.

Mack holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Francisco State University. She is also a graduate of UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism with a master’s degree in journalism.
