WSJ taps Kamping-Carder to head newsletters team

Leigh Kamping-Carder

Leigh Kamping-Carder will be joining the growing newsletters team at The Wall Street Journal. Recently, she was deputy editor, The Future of Everything, at The Journal.

She begins Jan. 17.

Kamping-Carder has been with the Journal for over 6 years, previously serving as digital director, The Future of Everything, and digital editor, Mansion, WSJ’s luxury real-estate section. She was also a senior editor at BrickUnderground.com, a website covering NYC real estate.

She has also worked freelance, contributing to outlets like The Hollywood Reporter and has also reported and edited for The Real Deal. She has also reported for Portfolio Media, publishers of the Law360 Newswire.

She has also interned at and was a contributor at the New York Observer.

Kamping-Carder has a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and a M.A. from New York University.
