David Crook, the editor of the Wall Street Journal Sunday, sent the following message out on Wednesday:
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
Many of you have already heard the news and have sent me notes. Thanks for your expressions of concern for me and for others.
For those who haven’t heard: Dow Jones today announced that WSJ Sunday will be shutting down after the new year. We will continue to publish weekly until mid-February.
Until then, it will remain business as usual.
Thank you all, each of you, for your talent, your help and your support over the years.
Let’s all try to make our last issues our best issues.
