The Wall Street Journal announced Wednesday that six newspapers, including five in Michigan, have joined its Wall Street Journal Sunday lineup of content-syndication partners.
The San Francisco Examiner, AnnArbor.com (Ann Arbor News), Grand Rapids Press, Jackson Citizen Patriot, Kalamazoo Gazette and Muskegon Sunday Chronicle will all receive and distribute the Sunday Journal’s exclusive content focusing on personal finance.
The Sunday Journal content is distributed in 7.3 million copies of 66 newspapers across the U.S. Last September, is was distributed in 70 papers.
As part of the additions, MLive Media Group newspapers will expand its use of The Wall Street Journal Sunday personal finance content from three publishing partners to all eight of its Michigan newspapers. The expanded partnership with MLive will reach a total of 447,000 subscribers.
In addition, The San Francisco Examiner, a Black Press Group newspaper, has incorporated The Wall Street Journal Sunday into its business pages each week. The Examiner distributes 255,200 copies on Sundays in the San Francisco Bay Area.
