The Wall Street Journal announced the launch of a weekly newsletter, 2020 Election+Business, which reports on business and finance issues relating to the 2020 election.
“We are heading toward a significant election with dramatic and growing differences between the parties in which the very structure and role of business going forward in our society is one of the biggest issues,” said Journal editor in chief Matt Murray in a statement. “This is a big story for the Journal and our readers and a central focus for the year ahead.”
2020 Election+Business will feature a column by WSJ’s Theo Francis, highlighting the issues that companies care about and the ways that they are tackling political and policy challenges and opportunities, including: data and exclusive analysis, along with a selection of stories from The Journal as well as links to key coverage from other sources.
The newsletter, set to publish weekly on Tuesdays, will also feature insights from reporters and editors from across the Journal’s business, economics, politics and markets bureaus.
