Wall Street Journal reporter Robbie Whelan, who has been covering COVID-19 for the past 15 months, is moving to cover Walt Disney Co. and other Hollywood studios.
He will start Jan. 18.
Whelan has also been a correspondent based in Mexico City, covering corporate news, economics, politics, migration, crime and general news. From April 2010 until October 2016, he worked as a reporter in the Journal’s New York City office, covering the U.S. housing market, commercial real estate companies, real-estate stocks and the logistics and shipping industry.
Previously, Robbie worked for the Baltimore Sun and the The Daily Record of Baltimore. He is originally from Pittsburgh.
