WSJ reporter Scaggs leaving for Bloomberg

Wall Street Journal reporter Alexandra Scaggs sent out the following message to her colleagues on Friday:

Hi all, Today’s my last day with the Wall Street Journal. It’s been a great three years, from my first marketlede about energy stocks to my last feature this week — fittingly, about energy stocks. In the time between, it was a huge privilege to work with so many talented colleagues to cover QEternity, approximately 10,000 stock-market records (give or take a few), taper tantrums and some extremely colorful analyst emails. I’ll miss everyone, and would love to stay in touch.

Scaggs is going to Bloomberg to cover Treasury market, according to a source. She starts on Feb. 23.

Scaggs previously worked at Institutional Investor for two years. She is a business journalism graduate from Washington & Lee University.
