Emre Peker, a reporter covering economy and politics at the Wall Street Journal, has left the company to join Eurasia Group in London as a director in the Europe team.
There, he will continue to cover the European Union trade issues including foreign policy matters and other developments.
Before coming to the WSJ, Peker was with Bloomberg working as a loan reporter and then a politics reporter. He also served as a legal assistant at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Before that, he worked as a business development associate at Exceed Commerce International.
Peker holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in reporting and writing from Northwestern University.
