Wall Street Journal reporter Ryan Knutson, who has covered telecommunications and technology, is moving to a corporate position within Dow Jones & Co.
Starting Monday, Knutson will be working on strategic partnerships with companies such as Apple, Facebook and Google.
Based in New York, Knutson has been covering companies such as Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Before joining The Journal, Knutson reported for a range of news outlets, including PBS “Frontline,” ProPublica and The Daily Graphic of Ghana.
At PBS, his work included an investigation into the high rate of accidental deaths among cellphone tower workers that earned him a spot as a Loeb Award finalist in 2013. He was also a Loeb Award finalist in 2014.
Knutson is a graduate of the University of Oregon
