Paul Glader, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal since 2002, has resigned from the paper. His last day was Friday.
Glader covered large industrial companies including General Electric Co. In the past, Glader has written about the global metals and mining industries, technology, science and travel in the Pittsburgh, San Francisco and New York offices of The Journal.
Before joining The Journal full time in November 2002, Glader was a reporter in the San Francisco bureau of the Associated Press and had internships at The Washington Post, The Indianapolis Star, The Prague Tribune (in the Czech Republic), Gannett News Service in Washington, D.C. and The Emporia Gazette (in Kansas).
Originally from South Dakota, Glader majored in political science at The University of South Dakota and attended summer programs through Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and in Prague. He completed a Knight-Bagehot Fellowship at Columbia University in 2007-2008, taking classes in the business school and journalism schools, receiving an M.S. from the journalism school in May 2008.
