Wall Street Journal reporter Rachel Ensign is moving to the wealth beat.
She will be covering the lives of millionaires, billionaires, regular people hoping to become millionaires and billionaires, and bankers serving all of the above.
Ensign previously covered banking, particularly Bank of America and commercial real estate lending.
Ensign joined the Journal in January 2011 and has covered a number of aspects of the banking industry since then, including financial regulation, small- and mid-sized banks, and personal finance. She was a part of a Journal team that was a finalist for a 2016 Gerald Loeb Award for coverage of the Federal Reserve’s December 2015 interest-rate increase.
She is a graduate of Cornell University.
