Tamer El-Ghobashy, a Wall Street Journal reporter in New York, is moving to Cairo soon to become a Middle East correspondent for the paper.
El-Ghobashy tells Talking Biz News that he will be based in Cairo and will start on or about Oct. 15. “I will be covering the political transition in Egypt with our current correspondent there, the excellent Matt Bradley,” he said in an email.
