Hunter joined the real estate team in 2014. He previously worked on the Money & Investing, where he oversaw the banking group. Prior to that, Hunter was the personal finance editor, overseeing the Weekend Investor section and its online manifestations.
Before The Journal, Hunter worked at Bloomberg BusinessWeek, where he was assistant managing editor for features, and at SmartMoney.
Before that, Hunter was a senior editor and then the managing editor of Derivatives Strategy, a monthly magazine. He began his journalism career as a reporter at the Waterford, NY-based newspaper, The Good News.
