I am delighted to announce that John Wordock is joining the video team as Senior Editor responsible for Multimedia.
John will work in a leading role with video to develop that crucial part of our business and will also oversee our future digital audio strategy. He will work with Chris Cramer and Andy Regal as we focus on the next phase of our video ambitions and deploy his very particular skills on our podcasting and digital content objectives for smartphone and in-car usage.
John was most recently Executive Editor of the Wall Street Journal Radio Network and has more than 20 years experience in TV, radio and digital for Dow Jones, CBS Marketwatch, AP and Bloomberg. He is, without doubt, one of the most talented leaders in this space and has received multiple awards in radio and digital. He stands out as a key digital ambassador for our future plans. In this new role he will report to Al Anspaugh.
Please join me in congratulating John as he begins a new phase of his career.
