Krista Kjellman Schmidt, lead strategy editor at The Wall Street Journal, is leaving. She previously served as strategy editor.
Schmidt has worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for six years. She has also taught at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She also served as a web producer and then as deputy editor of news applications at ProPublica.
She was an associate producer at ABC News and was a producer at News 12 the Bronx in New York.
Schmidt has a B.A. in English and broadcast journalism from New York University.
