Tomio Geron, who was previously with Dow Jones VentureWire, is back in action as a reporter in the San Francisco bureau for The Wall Street Journal’s VC Pro team. Tomio originally joined Dow Jones in 2007 but left for Forbes in 2011. Before that, he was a reporter at the Long Beach Telegram and Red Herring. Tomio came back to the bureau loaded with scoops and has unleashed a flurry of deals news. Tomio is a rare San Francisco native and lives in the city with his wife and one (“for now”) cat.
