Feliz Solomon has been hired by The Wall Street Journal to be a Southeast Asia reporter based in Singapore.
She joined the Journal after three years as a reporter and editor for Time in Hong Kong, where she oversaw the Asia newsroom and covered regional issues including the anti-extradition protests in Hong Kong, the Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar and Bangladesh, and the Thai cave rescue.
Prior to that, she was an editor for local media in Myanmar and Thailand for four years.
Originally from East Texas, she is a graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art in New York City.
