Sal Rodriguez
The Wall Street Journal has hired CNBC reporter Sal Rodriguez to cover Facebook and social media.
Rodriguez has been at CNBC for the past three years.
Before CNBC< he was at Reuters, where he covered the enterprise software and cloud computing markets with a focus on Microsoft and Salesforce.
Rodriguez has previously covered the tech industry for Inc. magazine, the International Business Times and the Los Angeles Times, and he has contributed pieces to Vice, Digital Trends and the Federal Times, among others.
Rodriguez received his journalism training at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in Phoenix. There, he earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in journalism and completed a specialization in business reporting.
