Giulia Petroni has been hired by the Wall Street Journal to work as a reporter on the EMEA newswires desk in Barcelona.
Petroni spent the summer as an intern with the energy team in London.
Originally from Rome, Petroni earned her master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She has previously worked at Il Gruppo 24 Ore, ABC-affiliated WJLA-TV, Perfil, the Buenos Aires Times and Voice of America.
Petroni is interested in geopolitics, energy and international affairs.
