WSJ hires Levitt as graphics reporter

Daniel Levitt

Daniel Levitt has joined The Wall Street Journal on the graphics team as a graphics reporter.

His new role begins May 4.

Previously, he was working with The Guardian on the organization’s visuals team as an interactive journalist. He is also a podcaster and handles the newsletter at Inside the Newsroom.

Levitt has also worked as a data visuals fellow at The Texas Tribune and as a sports and data intern at Five Thirty Eight. He has also held the posts of data visualization reporting intern and graphics editor at Bloomberg and Columbia Missourian, respectively.

In addition, he has worked at S&P Global, Local News Now and Winscribe.

Levitt graduated from Coventry University with an undergraduate degree in business management. He also holds a master’s degree in data journalism and visualization from University of Missouri-Columbia.
