The Wall Street Journal has hired longtime business journalist Daniel Kruger to cover the bond market.
He starts Monday.
Kruger has been a contributor to Forbes for the past 10 months, writing about bonds and currencies.
Before that, Kruger spent more than 10 years at Bloomberg News writing about the U.S. government bond market, central banks, currencies, commodities and related macro topics.
He also worked for Forbes from May 2000 to December 2005, writing about investing in stocks and bonds and writing stories about companies in industries including fast food, for-profit education, medical testing and finance.
Kruger also spent four years at The Bond Buyer, where he wrote about state and local government finances, including New York City and Nassau County, and covered municipal bond mutual funds.
Kruger holds degrees from SUNY-New Paltz and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
