Dennis Fitzgerald has been hired by The Wall Street Journal to be a publishing editor.
He most recently has been at Proactive as a senior financial journalist and at the New York Post business desk as an editor.
He spent a decade at Bloomberg, where he edited coverage of the bond and currency markets during the financial crisis.
Fitzgerald has also worked at The Deal as a senior writer and Consumer Reports as a project editor. He was an editor at the Miami Herald when Hurricane Andrew struck South Florida in August 1992.
