Calfas most recently has been a reporter for Time and Money magazines, covering workplace issues and women at work . She wrote breaking news and general news as part of Time’s news desk, with coverage spanning from the 2018 Winter Olympics to 2017s fidget spinner craze to education to pay inequity to California wildfires
She wrote Money magazine’s September 2018 cover story, which featured Skinnygirl CEO and “Real Housewives” star Bethenny Frankel.
Calfas also worked at The Hill.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she was editor in chief of the Michigan Daily.
